Whispering Pines gives the whole family a private place to gather without squeezing everyone into one living room. The cabin sleeps up to 8 across two private queen bedrooms, a twin-bed loft, and an additional queen sleeping space. For larger or multigenerational families, the optional private RV Guest Suite adds room for 2 more.
And outside the cabin, there are 300 private acres.
That means room for grandparents to enjoy a quiet morning by the pond, kids to spend the afternoon exploring, and everyone to come back together when it’s time for dinner.

We decorate the cabin for the season with tasteful, nature-inspired Christmas touches that complement the woods and character of Whispering Pines.
And at the center of it all is a real Christmas tree, selected from our own 300-acre property and brought into the cabin for the season.
It’s warm, festive, and unmistakably Christmas — while still feeling like Whispering Pines.

Our covered waterfront pergola gives the family another place to gather, with an outdoor table seating 8, string lights overhead, and the pond just beyond the table.
Serve Christmas dinner outside on a mild East Texas afternoon. Linger over coffee and dessert beneath the lights. Or keep the traditional meal indoors and save the pergola for drinks, conversation, and s’mores afterward.
However you use it, Christmas dinner gets a pretty remarkable backdrop.

A 3-night minimum applies to peak holiday dates. The booking calendar will show current availability and rates for your dates.

Maximum occupancy: 10 with the optional RV Guest Suite
Privacy: The cabin, pond, trails, and property are exclusively yours during your stay. There are no shared guest spaces or neighboring rentals on the property.
Want to explore more of the property? The Polaris Ranger EV is available as an optional add-on, giving adult drivers an easy and memorable way to explore the retreat’s private roads and trails.
The optional private RV Guest Suite is especially useful for grandparents, another couple, or family members who appreciate having their own private space while still being part of the gathering.

What to Know Before Booking
Yes! We decorate Whispering Pines with tasteful, nature-inspired Christmas decorations, including a real Christmas tree selected from our own property. Bring the presents — we’ll have the tree waiting.
The main cabin sleeps up to 8 guests. Our optional private RV Guest Suite sleeps 2 more, bringing the total capacity to 10. The RV can be especially helpful for grandparents or another couple who would enjoy a little extra privacy while staying close to the family.
Absolutely. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, stocked with cookware and many of the everyday cooking essentials you’ll need. There’s indoor dining for 8, plus our new covered pergola with another table for 8 overlooking the pond.
Yes. The six-person hot tub is open year-round, so winter guests can enjoy it throughout their stay.
Yes. Firewood, fire starters, and a complimentary s’mores kit are provided. All fires must remain in the designated fire pit and follow the property’s fire-safety guidelines.
Yes, the Ranger EV is available as an optional add-on. Adult drivers can use it to explore designated roads and trails across the property, subject to the Ranger rules and operating conditions.
Yes. Your group has exclusive use of the cabin, pond, trails, and property during your stay. The RV is never rented separately, so there won’t be another group staying alongside you.
